Cancellation & Refund Policy

Terms and conditions for order cancellations and refunds on the Winngs platform.

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for order cancellations and refunds on the Winngs platform. Our goal is to balance the convenience of our customers with the operational needs of our restaurant and delivery partners.

1. User Cancellations

Before Acceptance:

You may cancel your order at any time before it is accepted by the restaurant for a full refund.

Post-Acceptance:

Once the restaurant has accepted the order, cancellation requests may not be permitted as food preparation and operational processes may have already begun. In certain circumstances, if a cancellation request is made after acceptance, a cancellation fee of up to the full order value may be applied.

During/After Preparation:

Once the restaurant begins food preparation, the order cannot be canceled. Partial refunds in these cases are solely at the restaurant's discretion.

Cancellation Process:

To initiate a cancellation, use the "Cancel Order" button in the Winngs app or contact our 24/7 support team immediately.

2. Delivery-Related Cancellations

Inaccurate Information:

If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address, unreachable phone number, or no-show at the time of delivery, the order will be canceled without a refund.

Refusal to Accept:

If a customer refuses to accept a correctly fulfilled order at the doorstep, no refund will be issued.

Delivery Partner Issues:

If Winngs is unable to assign a delivery partner within a reasonable timeframe, the order will be canceled, and a full refund issued.

3. Restaurant & Platform Cancellations

Out of Stock/Unavailability:

If a restaurant cancels an order due to items being out of stock or operational issues, a full refund will be processed.

Force Majeure:

Delays or cancellations caused by extreme weather, government-imposed restrictions, or other unforeseen events may occur without liability for compensation beyond the order refund.

4. Refunds & Timelines

Refund Method:

All approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction.

Processing Time:

While Winngs initiates refunds immediately, it typically takes 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account or wallet.

Non-Refundable Cases:

Refunds are not provided for "change of mind" after preparation has started or for failed self-pickups.
